The Good Work Giveaway

Official Rules

Entries open November 4, 2026 and close November 10, 2026 at 11:59 pm Hawaii time.

  1. Sponsor. Neuma Creative LLC, doing business as Byword Studio [once the DBA is filed], 75-5851 Kuakini Hwy #390, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740, [email protected].
  2. No purchase necessary. Entering is free. Buying anything from Byword Studio or Neuma Creative does not help your chances.
  3. Judged contest. The winner is chosen by scoring entries under the published criteria, and the highest-scoring eligible entry wins. Nothing is decided by chance, ties included. One business wins the prize. Every eligible entrant also gets the free report in rule 8, and entrants who aren’t picked may get the separate offer in rule 11.
  4. Who can enter. A trade or home-service business (for example painting, fencing, septic, gutters, roofing, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping or cleaning) operating legally in the 50 United States or D.C. for at least one year as of November 10, 2026. The entrant owns the business or is authorized to act for it, and is 18 or older (or the age of majority where they live). One entry per business. Not open to current or past clients of Byword Studio or Neuma Creative, to businesses Neuma Creative has pitched or proposed work to in 2026, or to the sponsor’s household, judges or contractors.
  5. Dates. Entries open Wednesday, November 4, 2026 and close Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at 11:59 pm Hawaii time (HST). The sponsor’s clock is the official clock. Late or incomplete entries are not judged.
  6. How to enter. Only through the form at bywordstudio.com/giveaway. No posts, tags, shares, likes or follows are required or counted.
  7. The prize. One new website, five additional pages at launch, and six months of Byword’s monthly service, as described on the entry page. Approximate retail value: $7,500, based on Byword’s listed prices at bywordstudio.com ($3,500 for the website, $1,000 for five additional pages, and $500 a month for the monthly service). Not included: ad spend, printing, photography, logo design, custom extras (such as connections to job or booking software), and third-party costs such as domain renewal. No cash value. Not transferable. Substitutions only for something of equal or greater value.
  8. Free report for every entrant. Every eligible entrant gets a free two-page report on where their business shows up on Google Maps and what its reviews say, by email within three business days of entering. The report is not a prize and doesn’t depend on judging. Map results move day to day, and the report shows what our scans found when we ran them.
  9. Winner notice. We’ll email the winner by Friday, November 13, 2026. The winner has 5 business days to accept and 7 days after accepting to start intake (the first call, the questionnaire and photos). If not, the next-highest score is offered the prize. We’ll email every entrant either way, and name the winner on bywordstudio.com once they accept.
  10. Delivering the prize. Before work starts, the winner signs a short project agreement covering the scope, the rounds of changes and the timeline. Work begins as early as the week of November 30, 2026, and the website aims to go live by Friday, December 18, 2026. The six months of monthly service start when the website goes live. Each month’s new page needs that month’s photos and job facts from the winner, and a month without them doesn’t carry over. After the six months, the monthly continues only if the winner says yes, month to month at Byword’s regular price at the time, with no long-term contract. If the winner doesn’t continue, the site, domain and Google profile stay theirs, Byword moves the site to a Cloudflare account the winner owns and sends plain instructions for making changes to it with ChatGPT or Claude, including how to keep its forms working.
  11. If you’re not picked. After the winner is picked, Byword may contact entrants who aren’t chosen with an offer toward the same package. Any offer is optional, separate from the contest, and never affects judging.
  12. Taxes. The winner is responsible for any taxes on the prize. The sponsor will issue tax forms only if the law requires them.
  13. Publicity. The winner agrees we can share the work as a case study, with the details (which jobs, names, photos and quotes) agreed with them first. Any case study or testimonial will say the work was a prize.
  14. Referral thank-you. If the winner names the person who sent them (question 13), Byword will send that person a $100 Amazon gift card once the winner accepts. One gift card per contest. The referrer can’t be the winner, a judge or part of the sponsor’s household. Who referred an entrant never affects judging. Amazon is not a sponsor of this contest.
  15. Privacy. We use your answers and photos to judge, to make your report and to follow up about this contest and your report, by email, phone or text. We won’t publish your photos unless you win and agree to it. You can opt out anytime.
  16. Platforms. This contest is not sponsored, endorsed or run by Meta, Facebook or Instagram, and you release them from any claim related to it.
  17. Our limits. The sponsor may disqualify false or incomplete entries. We may change or cancel the contest only for causes beyond our control. The sponsor is not liable for lost or late entries or technical problems. Void where prohibited. Hawaii law governs.
  18. Winner’s name is available on request after November 13, 2026.
  19. By entering, you agree to these Official Rules.
